At opening time, Meowchiato occupies the cleanest cup on the counter. The first espresso disappears beneath a careful paw print, then the foam receives a quality inspection. She accepts one butter biscuit, rejects loud teaspoons, and keeps the sunny window table until closing. Nobody has confirmed whether she works here or simply has seniority. Her peace sign means the queue may proceed.
